Our story
Fetch was started by two friends who met in 2013 and quickly bonded over their love for the outdoors, adventure, and a scruffy English Spaniel named Douglas. For years, they explored trails, beaches, and parks, but one thing kept bothering them - the pet gear they relied on didn’t align with their values.
So they set out to create something better. Fetch was born with a simple idea: to make high-quality, adventure-ready pet gear using recycled materials, without compromising on durability or comfort.

Meet the founders
Chris and Jacques live in Cape Town and have always shared a love for the outdoors, sport, and dogs (More specifically, Douglas.) Whether chasing golden light with a camera or heading out for an early trail run, they’re happiest when moving with purpose. Fetch was their way of combining creativity with impact - building a brand that cares about dogs, the planet, and doing things properly. What started as a side project quickly became a shared mission: to create thoughtful gear that stands up to every adventure
